Dear B.U.F.F. users, it is suboptimal - if not prohibitive - for other team members who would like to propel their projects if you use extraordinarily long scanner slots on the 3.0 T/7.0 T/9.4 T scanner for development purposes. Using the scanner throughout the entire morning (or the entire afternoon) should be enough. Of course, lining up serious and well prepared patient, volunteer or animal studies throughout the entire day constitutes a legitimate exception.
Please bear also in mind that the scanners are not development devices but data acquisition devices. Please always ask yourself whether you did prepare your scanner session properly.
Please make also sure that you do not pick and choose the sweet raisins/slots only. Starting at 09:00 a.m. is suboptimal (and an offence against your team members) since we are losing valuable scanner time because of this mal-practice. Please be advised that it is the best approach to start at 08:00 a.m. (or even earlier) since you are energized and ready to rock & roll in the morning hours.
Please enjoy using the state-of-the art B.U.F.F. equipment.
